Imagine your childhood without being able to join your friends, or school mates, at recess because the weather outside is way too cold and you don’t have a warm coat nor winter boots. How would you feel, deprived of inclusion, warmth and socializing with your peers?

This is the plight of many children in our communities. Financial hardship in families put children at risk of lacking basic needs.

Breakfast With Santa Foundation’s Coats 4 Kids Program helps children eligible for assistance in underserved communities to receive the precious gift of warmth and precious smiles.

From August 1 to November 1 we accept donations of new and very gently loved warm winter coats, snow suits, snow pants, hats, scarves, mitts/gloves and socks. Donations are distributed to schools in underserved communities of Mississauga and Brampton.

It is due to the generosity of many benefactors we are able to reach children in need.  Please consider helping with:

• A monetary donation to purchase new coats

  • Snow suits
  • Hats
  • Scarves
  • Mitts/gloves
  • Socks
  • New Winter Boots
• Talk to family, friends, neighbours and co-workers about our Program
• Consider offering to be a collection site
• Organize a children’s coat drive
• In lieu of presents for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays ask for children’s winter gear

We collect all sizes of clean, wearable, free of stains and tears children’s coats to provide the gift of warmth.
